Created to celebrate the success of conservation projects that have brought the bluefin tuna back from the brink of extinction, this piece is bound to bring joy. The drawing paired with it's gold counterparts symbolises the species recovery.

Numbers of Atlantic bluefin tuna are increasing year on year, and in 2021 the species was removed from the list of Endangered species on the IUCN Red List and reclassified to a species of Least Concern. The Atlantic bluefin tuna It was also removed from our Good Fish Guide red rated Fish to Avoid list and rated amber for the first time.
